LONG WEEKEND!

Well this weekend has been another new learning experience in a long line of more to come! Ethan has started teething and is also going through a growth spurt, so it has been a challenge for me. On the bright side Ethan and I were able to spend time with familythis weekend, which was fun! We are remodeling our bathroom or maybe I should say Jared is! We now have our new shower in and a new toilet, along with a brand new floor! I am very blessed to have a husband so hardworking! We went to walmart and picked out towels and a shower curtain, which could have been a very stressful process, but Jared was able to laugh at the fact that I changed my mind so much! I couldn't decide between brown on the walls or blue! I finally decided to go with a blue on the walls with a brown shower curtain and brown towels! It should look really nice and it will be a lot better than what we had before!

In a few days Jared and Andrew will be redoing our bathroom! We are super excited because our bathroom is really in need of a remodel! Ethan is still growing more and more each day! He sure is baby talking a lot more than I thought babies this age normally do!

Photo Shoot!

Today was Ethan's big photo shoot at Sears! I was really worried that for some reason he would be grumpy and not smile, but he did wonderful! I copied and pasted some from the sears website because they were so cute, but we aren't going to be buying them all! What a little baby model! I am also uploading a new video for Aunt Courtney to view!

A trip to school!

Thursday was a very exciting day for Ethan and I! We took a little trip to Lamar to visit some of my old friends at school! Everyone was very excited to get a chance to meet little Ethan! He slept the whole way then woke up right as we got there and managed to be in a good mood the whole time. The most exciting part of the trip for me was getting to see all of my students from last year! They all seemed really excited to get to see me again! I got some hugs and a lot of smiles which made me feel really good! I sure miss those kids! It was also great to get to see all of my friends, I have to admit I felt like an adult. I haven't really felt like I have had the opportunity to interact with anyone but Ethan and Jared lately and most of my day is spent talking to someone who can't talk so it was a great day!

First Laugh

Today was an interesting new day! I was trying to find fun things to do with Ethan, which can sometimes be a struggle because he is only 3 months old! Anyway I was singing to him and he was getting bored so I started to tickle him! He started to giggle for the first time! He had a real laugh! He was so cute, and he laughed more than once! I am glad I have been given the opportunity to stay home and see all the little things happen for the first time! Another interesting thing that I found was a website that had a whole lot of songs for little kids! I found songs that I had forgotten about! For example the baby bumblebee song, such a cute song! Also a lot of bible story songs! I just can't wait until Ethan can sing the songs with me!
In other news Jared has been working his bottom off almost everynight on our addition! We also have a heating and cooling guy scheduled to install a unit in 2 weeks so that will be super exciting! Jared and Andrew will also me redoing our bathroom the weekend after next so Ethan and I will be staying with my parents for a while! Jared and I are so blessed to have a great family that is willing to help us with anything! Jared and I also tried a new church last Sunday! Calvery Church of Joplin, Jared really liked it and hopes to go back next weekend! I want to go back and check it out! There were some things I didn't quite understand so we will see! I just found it a little weird that all the children have there own church upstairs and are never in church with their parents. They also have a cry room for new parents, but I didn't want to be seperated from the crowd! Nor do I want my child up stairs the whole service! Anyway we will see next weekend how it works out!
